CIMS' Occupational Safety and Ergonomics Excellence Program (OSEE) helps companies
find rapid resolutions to immediate safety concerns and answers to difficult
safety-related questions. Safety is an on-going process that deserves on-going
attention. OSEE is committed to providing
comprehensive ergonomic and health and
safety expertise as well as continuous support to help companies make their workplaces
safer year after year. OSEE has assisted over 100 companies with ergonomic and
safety issues since 1996. OSEE is not a one time service; it provides long-term
direction and support.
Who can benefit from OSEE? Companies that:
- want to save money on compensation and "hidden" costs of injuries
- are interested in improving their safety & health
- want assistance in providing OSHA required training and programs
- have injury or illness rates greater than five injuries per 100 workers per year
- have ergonomics-related injuries, such as sprains, strains, and carpal tunnel syndrome
- want a standardized process for ergonomics evaluations of work areas
Examples of industries that may benefit from participation in OSEE?s programs:
- Manufacturing/remanufacturing
- Colleges and Universities
- Nursing Homes
- Grocery Stores
- Office Environments
