- Knowledge of scientific processes that will improve product quality, customer assurance and the bottom line Quick, effective and focused courses
- Hands-on education that keeps up with technology and product changes
- CIP Levels and Courses
- CIP provides educational development to imaging industry professionals.
- The program is offered in three levels.
- Courses, typically one to two days, are led by qualified instructors.
- Certification for each level is awarded subject to the successful completion of four courses from that level. Programs are offered in public forums as well as on-site by request.
- CIP LEVEL ONE
- ...is a comprehensive overview of key imaging product fundamentals.
- Courses focus on product architecture, electrophotography basics, and basic image quality evaluation.
- It is a complete program for professionals who require a fundamental imaging education.
- Level I Courses: Laser Printer Fundamentals, Manufacturing Basics, Electrophotography, Inkjet Technology, Image Quality Basics
- CIP LEVEL TWO
- ...expands on the topics introduced in Level One.
- Those completing this level will have a thorough understanding of the theory and design of imaging device components, manufacturing quality tools, standard test methods and image quality evaluation techniques.
- This training is geared toward operational managers, professionals, and technicians.
- Level II Courses: Component Evaluation, Using Image Quality to Troubleshoot Systems, ASTM Standard Testing, Quality Assurance Concepts, Inkjet Image Quality Issues
- CIP LEVEL THREE
- ...is the highest distinction of the CIP program.
- Advanced topics such as toner properties, experiment design, advanced image quality evaluation and color science are covered.
- This level is intended for specialists who wish to enhance their effectiveness by availing themselves of the most advanced technology and techniques.
